We give Praises unto the Lord in all things. Genesis Le Bleu Waters Restaurant is in the memory of Genesis Holmes, and his legacy. Genesis was a 13-year-old boy who wanted to make a difference in his community and the surrounding areas. Genesis loved food, and cooking. Eggs and rice was his favorite dish that he would eat all the time. He was definitely a leader in his community with all his many talents and his bright personality. Genesis’ smile would light up the room from the moment he walked through the door. Tragically, on May 5, 2014, Genesis departed life, and ascended into heaven. Genesis Holmes never knew how to swim or the proper water safety skills to survive in water. His life was goon too soon, and he never got the opportunity to live out his dreams here on earth.
Genesis now lives his legacy through his family, friends, and The Genesis Project. The Genesis Project was birthed a few months after his passing. The Genesis Project is through Charleston County Parks and Recreation. Its’ main goal is to bring free swim lessons, and water safety awareness in rural areas around Charleston county. We honor Genesis Holmes and all who went by drowning. We celebrate our first pool this summer, June 2019, in Genesis name and his hometown. The pool will be called West County AQUATIC Center, in Hollywood, SC Hwy 165, behind the Piggly Wiggly, for all walks of life in Jesus Name.
At Genesis Le Bleu Waters Restaurant, we offer a different special item on the menu, so you'll never get bored. Our talented chefs will keep you coming back for more daily.
